Mind, Consciousness and the Fundamental Laws of
the Universe
By Volodymyr Krasnoholovets
Consciousness and Nature
I would like to start this article with words by Peter Russell [1] who determines consciousness as the canvas of the mind. Then he turns to science noting that science considering consciousness becomes to explore deep mind and hence would lead to the discovery of a god. But what kind of god? The god as the doctrine about ourselves, our entity and the essence of our consciousness. Thus he believes that if science includes deep mind, it would be a truly unified science and such a science will allow inner technologies, which help people live in harmony with Nature.
Those are very interesting argumentations since they in principle permit the construction of an actual physical model of consciousness in a real 4D space-time. Overwhelming majority of physicists who develop a quantum theory of mind (see, e.g. Stapp
[2]) adhere to a policy of orthodox quantum theory, which, however, does not hold on any physical interpretation of abstract mathematical fields, matrices or other functions available in the theory. Mayne
[3] notes that some of physicists to hold on to the point of view that mind and matter, energy and consciousness are intimately intertwined. He believes that a new paradigm of the future will view a universe where consciousness is the primary reality, from which physical reality is derived.
Real Space and Subquantum Physics
A detailed study of real space recently conducted at a submicroscopic scale by the author
[4] in fact admits to assume that consciousness, mind and consciousness-related physical phenomena may be simulated in the framework of a model of a mathematical space which share both discrete and continuous properties. Besides in the mentioned works submicroscopic quantum mechanics operating at an extremely small scale, which may easy be transformed to the Schroedinger and Dirac formalisms at the atom size has successfully been elaborated as well. It was argued that the space constitutes of a superdensely packing of balls which can be treated as some kind of identical superparticles with size 10^{-28} cm (as known at this size all kinds of physical interactions come together). In such a manner the space net to be treated as a substrate, or quantum aether. A local stable deformation of the space net is associated with the creation of a particle in the net. Unstable deformations constitute spatial excitations, or quasi-particles, called "inertons". A major prediction of the theory is the above-mentioned excitations, which are excited in space when a canonical particle begins to move. Inertons transmit mass (i.e., a local deformation of the space net) and therefore just inertons are responsible for inert and gravitational properties of particles. Thus inertons are carriers of a new physical field, namely, the inerton field which as fundamental as the electromagnetic one. These two fields come together at the size of an elementary cell, i.e. ball, 10^{-28} cm. Unification of the fields is reduced to the space net that is simulated by special building blocks, which using the mathematical language was called balls (or cells, or superparticles).
The introduction of the fine structure of real space and the construction of submicroscopic quantum mechanics allow the following deduction: Quantum theories such as quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, chromodynamics and others should be treated as phenomenological (not quantum!) from the presented submicroscopic point of view and therefore some of their outcomes and predictions cannot be regarded as reliable.
The role of a source of the phenomenon of gravitation should be attributed just to the inerton field. The dynamic inerton field induces the phenomenon of gravity rather than the static geometry of empty space-time of general relativity orders. In such a manner, the inerton field should be considered as a source of gravitation phenomena. We perceive the Newton gravitational law 1/r (that was easily corrected by Einstein to the form 1/r + dV(r)) as a static, but the presence of the inertons allow us to change this view-point radically: since the inerton field is dynamic, the gravity must also be dynamic.
Consciousness, Mind and Inerton Waves
It is important to emphasize that the inertion field demonstrates dual properties. First, in the microscopic world, it behaves as a substructure filling of the psi-wave function and hence all eigenfunctions of orthodox quantum mechanics acquire physical sense (let's remind that orthodox quantum theory is still based on the abstract and pure probabilistic formalism). Second, in the macroscopic world, the inerton field behaves as a field that provides for the gravitational interaction between massive objects. It is obvious that the first point is of crucial importance in the application of submicroscopic quantum theory to an analysis of all conscious-related physical phenomena. A theory based on the submicroscopic quantum mechanical methodology will in fact be able to explore deep mind and to connect consciousness, thinking, mind, and physical reality.
In as much as the inerton field is dynamics, it realizes the interplay between objects by means of inerton waves. This signifies that everyone emits his/her inerton waves and hence the waves overlap with those of other individuals. Consequently, we may conclude that the inerton field influences our live, activity, consciousness, and mind since our own inerton fields emitted at the brain neuromediator interactions overlap and form the entire mental network of the Earth; we are able to communicate each other by this field via the perceptive channel. Thoughts and feelings are full components of universe, but while emotional feelings do not deserve to be justified, they may have a physical impact in terms of inerton waves, which are a particular kind of space deformation accompanying any motion of particle-like structures. Because any feeling is at least supported by a cascade of molecular interactions between brain cortex and limbic system
[5], thoughts may have physical effects independently from the actions they elicit.
Considering that inertons are real carriers of thoughts, we may suggest that due to the elastic interaction of inertons with the space net inertons emitted by living species came back to the emitter. If we relate thoughts to inertons (or inerton clouds), we come to the inference that bad thoughts may have a retroactive impact against their emitters. Such kinds of thoughts would be a negative feedback corrective, like a dual to the perception of others' distress as a positive feedback corrective.
So the following logical corollary can be drawn: Mind should be held under rigorous control, any indulgence carries on to the mind degarmonization (owing to a reflexive response on the side of the space net, i.e., the Absolute reality).
The Vedas and the Physics Laws
The findings mentioned above bring together all of us to the Vedas, the ancient doctrine written down in India several thousands years ago. It is pleasant that other researchers indicate the same as well, i.e., that all physical appearance in the Universe has a common origin in an omnipervasive field of infinite energy and that just this fact was recorded in ancient Indian manuscripts. I would like to refer the reader also to a recent book by Roy
[6] in which the author argues that ancient sages coded their scientific knowledge in religious terms. The two consequences might be derived from the Roy's book: 1) ancient sages possessed the knowledge about the world construction, from the micro cosmos to the universe; 2) God, or the Absolute reality should be treated in scientific terms. Thus, the book shows that the Absolute reality, which is contained in everybody and everything and yet penetrates and fills the whole universe, is a substrate that would be simulated by mathematical rules and physical laws. And this is a revelation! If it is true, modern physics should reject such vague notions as a vacuum (or a empty, or void space) and come back to an aether, but rather a quantum one, which is the first approximation to the real Absolute that shares discrete and continuum properties. Such a remarkable deduction from the Roy's book is in excellent agreement with the theory of real space described above.
A central tenet of the submicroscopic theory of space is that it backs up the major principles of norms of behaviour of people community prescribed in the ancient laws fixed in the Vedas. In fact, due to the interaction of the mental network with the space net our any action in turn will affect us and, once again, our any negative activity without fail should be reflected on us ruining our mental health. Accordingly, the research introduces rigorous scientific grounds for the necessity of strict moral and humanitarian education based on the ancient Vedic foundations for world community. The findings would also be very useful for the cultivating a new generation of world politicians who will serve humanity. Their upbringing being based on the integral knowledge of the Nature laws will allow the stopping arms race.
Perspectives
Some of the statements above were verified experimentally, but only in the framework of pure physical experiments. There are interesting ideas how the new submicroscopic theory may work being applied to other physical effects, astronomy, paranormal, and consciousness-related physical phenomena. Liberal arts and cybernetics and may use and develop the theory as well.
