The Neo-Humanistic Ecology Festival has been held since 1991. It's a Festival, which brings together people, who want to help build a harmonious, ecological society. The Festival takes place on a 46 hectare organic farm situated near Jelenia Gora and Karpacz in the Karkonosze Mountains of Poland. The farm belongs to Polish branch of Ananda Marga and it's an ecology, education and service center. This Festival is a great opportunity to meet people, who want to take care of our planet. The lectures and workshops on Neo-Humanism, deep neo-humanistic ecology and PROUT (Progressive Utilization Theory) point out the basic problems of present humanity and show the ways to solve these problems. It is possible to make the world better for all living being if we believe we can do it and if we have the knowledge to do it. Every year we invite interesting speakers and workshop presenters, who show by their own example, that it is necessary and possible to strive for a better world.. We discuss today's current ecological problems such as GMO, factory farming, soil erosion and social issues such as problems of democracy, globalisation and it's influence on Third World Countries, and the world food crisis.. Workshops at the festival point out the defects of present-day capitalism and present the ecological and spiritual alternative . In addition, you will get a chance to take part in Cooperative Games which are not only a lot of fun but demonstrate the advantage that cooperation and working together brings to all members of society. But those are not the only workshops. The atmosphere of Festival is full of harmony and good vibes. The many relaxation workshops, yoga classes, lectures on deep spirituality, Tai-Chi, dances and songs all add up to a human experience that is as beautiful as the natural surroundings of the farm and mountains. The beauty of Karkonosze mountains, the natural environment, the tasty, organic and vegetarian food and many wonderful people all make this an event that you will remember for a long time to come.
